The furnace for slow cooling will be used for exposure specimen in spent fuel dry storage. Furnace will be able to expose specimen at relevant temperatures with different cooling rates. The innovative element of the furnace will be the possibility to make very slow cooling rates comparable with real situation (few °C/day). The cooling rate is very important and very dependend for the radial hydrides formation. Different cooling rates will be used with furnace to be able to set-up a model.
