The production and / or rental of internationally certified packages designed for safe transport and / or storage of radioactive materials is another important product of UJP PRAHA, as. Packaging sets are produced according to the customer’s requirements in various variants, the shield being used mainly depleted uranium, tungsten alloy, lead, iron, polyethylene or paraffin.

Packaging file means a package or a set of packages and other structural components needed to completely contain radioactive contents for storage and transport, enabling both nuclear safety and radiation protection to be ensured at the same time.

The packaging package may be a box, crate, tank, tank, container, etc., consisting of one or more containers with shielding properties, into which is inserted a so-called sleeve for the storage of radioactive material.

UJP PRAHA as develops packaging packages, which are classified according to the design for types IP-1, IP-2, IP-3, A, B (U) and are subject to type approval according to SÚJB Decree No. 379/2016 Coll.

UJP PRAHA as fully complies with the IAEA Safety Standards regulations for the safe transport of radioactive materials. No TS-R-1.
